Tennis is permitted at Level 3, in a safe controlled environment. Play is only permitted with those inside your household bubble. You should scan in, stay at least 2m away from those outside your bubble, and sanitise your hands on entry and exit to the courts. Unfortunately, professional coaching (group/1-1/private lessons) is not permitted at Level 3.
Auckland and parts of Waikato are at Alert Level 3. Auckland has an easing of some Level 3 restrictions. LEVEL 3 UPDATE | We are excited to hear the Ministers comments today about tennis, and we are now awaiting the detailed guidelines for sport from Sport NZ. As soon as we have that detail, we will share it with the tennis community so if you wish, you can prepare appropriately for the move into Level 3.
